TTPD and Cowboy Carter are different albums in different genres meant for different audiences. They both demonstrate brilliance in their own ways. There's no one objectively right winner for AOTY, but either are fully deserving.

Storytelling seems to be the string that ties most of my interests together in some form or another.

It's a shame to me that the Grammys inevitably create so much discourse around who "deserved" to win. Art really shouldn't be a competition. Basically everyone nominated in some sense "deserves" to win. I wish we could use this kind of event to celebrate all the artistic talent, not argue endlessly.
