Unbelievable that Pearl was DP on both the original and the remake! What a talent!

So many audio options!

4.5/5. Dangerously close to as good as the original, if not quite as groundbreaking and transgressive. Nasty, mean, unpleasant & legitimately as gory as people claimed the original was, this remake shows that you CAN bring new life to a classic if you truly care. UHD is incredible. Check it out!

3.5/5. Pretty damn good young-adult slasher that doesn't talk down to its audience or pull punches. Likable cast, good acting, well directed, well shot, plenty of gore, fun story. Not as good as the book, but a respectful adaptation that does it's source justice. Check it out!

Super weird take lol

4.5/5. Maybe the best rape-revenge thriller of all time & an exploitation masterpiece. Zoë Tamerlis (RIP) delivers an unbelievable performance here as Thana. Ferrara's New York City is, once again, the co-star of the film. Great direction, great acting, great cast, great music. Check it out!

High praise!!! Especially since we appear to have very similar taste in movies 😆. There's just something special about a Ferrara movie 👌🏻

3/5. Almost more adult film/exploitation than a straight thriller, Giallo in Venice was one hell of a nasty ride. Tons of explicit sex & nudity along with some shocking violence & good gore practical effects. Recommended if you have the appetite for a VERY grimy, sleazy giallo. Check it out!
