Unfortunately, the Republican party has decided to try and change history on that front.

Watching from the other side of the world is a sigh of relief for me, but the actions of one almost influenced our conservative party to take the same stance...

If the government officials of a republic are elected by it's citizens in an election, it's a democracy.
