Elon repeatedly claimed he was not doing the Nazi salute, but even his own technology hid his photo as containing graphic content ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ. Mr Free Speechโ€™s own proprietary AI on his own app blocked him

Do we want to live under a government capable of knowing where we are, even when we leave our technology at home?

Can they track our phones already? What about when the person who will soon own satellites that can reach every inch of the globe has access to realize his world conquest aspirations?

This technology could be used to target and track anyone who dissents or even specific demographic groupsโ€” which is not ideal when we have an incumbent President with authoritarian aspirations.

This all demonstrates that we are living in a surveillance state with cameras everywhere that the government can access and technology that will automatically identify people. Whatโ€™s to stop them from using those to monitor anyone at any time?

08.12.2024 18:14 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 3    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Also, does anyone else feel deeply unsettled by the fact that law enforcement are celebrating that with a grainy partial face photo, facial recognition software, and a network of cameras all over the country, will alert law enforcement when a facial match is electronically identified?

How is that different from private insurance refusing to approve treatment for someone whose doctor deems that treatment medically necessary? Especially when those people are paying them?

What if a school crossing guard didnโ€™t halt oncoming traffic while children were crossing? What if his justification was that the flashing childrenโ€™s crossing signs should have been enough to prevent the children from being hit by cars?

Would firefighters be penalized for pulling up to a house thatโ€™s burning with people inside without even turning on the hose? What if the firefighters said they didnโ€™t feel the family had followed the necessary precautions or hadnโ€™t tried hard enough to extinguish the fire themselves?

Would a lifeguard at a country clubโ€™s private pool be charged with murder if they refused to throw a drowning member a life ring or a rope? What if the justification for refusing was that the lifeguard didnโ€™t feel like getting out of their chair?

Raise your hand if you think this much energy would be spent trying to track someone who shot you.

So, yes. Iโ€™m writing a coal camp Melungeon love story, in the vernacular. Flirting happens when a girl tells a boy sheโ€™s glad heโ€™s a bastard because he ainโ€™t got no daddy to make him cut his hair. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

Sounds like what JD Vance said.

Because the Bible is his favorite book, all journalists should frame all questions for Trump in King James Version vernacular.

But for realโ€ฆ Who is this?

Because this ainโ€™t Trump. That donโ€™t even look like hair. Looks like a Chucky wig. Looks like Mr. Doubtfire.

This whole season of reality is like a big gaslighting, crazy-making circus.

Seriously. Is this even Trump?

RFK talked about creating โ€œhealing farmsโ€ for people with addiction to avoid prison by farming organic food with no access to technologyโ€” in other words, being entirely isolated so they could be โ€œreparented.โ€

Sounds like big daddy coal and convict leasing revisited.

21.11.2024 00:19 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 27    ๐Ÿ” 1    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

At the big pre-election Turning Point rally, Tucker Carlson used a Daddy punishing a โ€œhormone addledโ€ teen girl analogy. She had to get a โ€œvigorous spankingโ€ because โ€œDaddy comes home, and heโ€™s pissed.โ€

21.11.2024 00:19 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 12    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

โ€œCrimesโ€ were for things like vagrancy, loitering, trespassing, and congregating in groups of three or more.

We will see all of this come back around soon, and itโ€™s already started.

21.11.2024 00:19 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 6    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

They owned the privatized police.

Convict leasing was advertised as a way to help aimless, bored people with no motivation to stay out of crime learn a skill for a trade. In reality, it was a perpetuation of slavery that for many years was the main revenue for Southern states.

21.11.2024 00:19 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 10    ๐Ÿ” 1    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

They controlled the entertainment, the sports leagues, and even the currencyโ€” which could only be spent at company-owned locations.

They set the prices of everything and the pay to keep workers unable to stop struggling. They owned the homes, and getting injured meant instant eviction.

21.11.2024 00:19 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 6    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

They used churches led by hired propagandists who used the pulpit to spread nationalism, influence against labor organizing, and sow division.

They hired the klan and other groups to sow division and intimidate people into staying docile and loyal to the company.

Leading up to the election, I made a lot of posts about how authoritarianism looks in America. Itโ€™s already been done in coal camps.

They used โ€œday schools,โ€ the predecessor to residential schools, to prepare children to work the mines, fields, and railroads.

In the coal camps, mine operators had total control of everythingโ€” housing, the currency (they did not pay workers with the US dollar), the entertainment, the mandatory churches, the media, the brutal day schoolsโ€ฆ everything. This is called corporate paternalism.

Like moonshining.

Sharecropping was the main way convict leasing was used in the Deep South, but up in the Appalachian South and Central Appalachia, it was coal mining.

Especially vulnerable were Melungeons, Creole, Redbones, & other mixed-ethnic groups who had been trying to survive outside of systems that wouldnโ€™t allow them to integrate but hated them for not integrating. They spent their lives trying to find ways to afford livingโ€” which were then made illegal.

Just like other traps that begin with racism, some white people were also vulnerable to these trapsโ€” especially those who opposed the politics of racism in the South.

21.11.2024 00:19 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 8    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Of course, if no one will hire you and you start with no home, you are โ€œvagrant.โ€ Arrest records for many people forced into this system were simply blank, listing no crime at all.

This image is a picture of people working an organic farm under the convict leasing system. After slavery was abolished, the South was big mad. So, they started arresting (mostly Black men) for things like vagrancy and loitering.
