I also think it's really important that we take responsibility for what we bring to the equation, instead of always trying to 'fix' the horse, and my approach reflects this. My horsemanship has taken me on a huge self development journey which l'm sure will continue as long as I spend time

It’s not something I ever expected I would do, but I love the process, and seeing how this work helps horses so much. I currently offer equine communication sessions on a pay-as-you-feel basis, as it’s still something I’m relatively new to, and I want my work to be as accessible as possible.

One of the directions this quest for knowledge has sent me in, was learning how to practice animal communication (for more on this, I have a podcast episode titled “Learning and Practicing the Art of Animal Communication”).

I’m currently studying trauma-informed horsemanship, and I can’t wait to start holistically supporting horses in their trauma recovery. I love learning everything that I can to give my horses the best life possible, and I always strive to show up in the most supportive way.

My goal above all else is for me, Willow and Annie to feel comfortable, safe and joyful in each other's presence. My approach to how I interact with them (or indeed, any horse) is soft, relational, and always focused on honouring their unique voice and personality.
