What‘s up
I spent over a decade in the game as player, captain, organizer, and anchor. I grew up despising KVN as a career ladder; CHGK was all about the game and the smartasses (“intellectual elites” or whatever they/we liked to call us). But most importantly, we were driven as hell, and it was worth it
CHGK once embodied Soviet belief in truth thru collective thought. I grew up in hyper-individualist Russia, where the game merged these opposing drives—and now, inevitably, this truly grassroots movement is being drawn into the airless, governable future-in-the-past
