Most places around here rarely have it on Halloween if it falls Friday-Sunday. The reasoning they give is HS playoff football and too many weekend activities. If Halloween is on Mon-Thurs, they usually have it on that day.

I've lived in central Ohio my entire life. They NEVER have TorT on a weekend (including Friday evening). They did it once when I was a kid on a Saturday afternoon. While the weather was nice, we didn't like it because it's hard to be spooky when the sun is shining.
