Subscriptions are the life-blood of Welsh Football magazine, a completely independent, non-profit print zine.
We're keeping print alive, and supporting domestic and grassroots football, but only with your help.

I donโ€™t post about rugby much, but from a pub in Brighton,it is a sad state of affairs that getting tonked by the Roses 48-7 doesnโ€™t feel that bad. I should be fucking wailing, but Iโ€™m just glad we didnโ€™t get fiftied or niled.

Here be dragons: How the Football Association of Wales was founded Iwan Williams Those who know their Welsh football history will be familiar with the background to the FAWโ€™s founding. For those who donโ€™t, it involves a daring and forward-thinking solicitor, aโ€ฆ

A daring solicitor, a crowdfunding plea to play Scotland, and a February meeting in Wrexham. As the FAW turns 150, Iwan Williams looks back at the remarkable story of its founding in 1876

We definitely need to increase the number of African teams weโ€™ve played!

Good that Mooney confirms that a summer friendly would be at the CCS, I still have a hunch that some of our Nations League games will end up at the Millennium, depending on who we get in the draw a week Thursday.

I 100% agree - the FAW needs to move the final to the gogs, as there arenโ€™t any hwntw teams left!

Bangor had 2800 at Nantporth today, a Cofรฎ v Bangor final could surely approach the 4000 mark if the game was up north. Maybe about half that if itโ€™s in Newport.

What they mean is sung ร  capella over the PA by the micโ€™d up Male Voice Choir stood on the pitch, rather than the crowd really.

But this a positive change that will be far better than a soprano or a tenor warbling the anthem over the PA & the crowd.

Just got to sort out all the other messes now!

Did a tsunami hit the Bristol Channel four centuries ago? Revisiting the great flood of 1607 Four centuries on, scientists are still debating whether the catastrophic flood of 1607 was driven by a storm surge or a tsunami.

Depending on the state of the tide, a 4m tsunami would inundate Cardiff and Newport. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

I used to play 5-a-side at Channel View & wondered who Jim Driscoll was, until I looked him up!

Thatโ€™s the point of naming streets!

I canโ€™t believe that Adamsdown has a street named after a robbing, racist, murdering Belgian king when Clive Sullivan for example, who born in Splott, hasnโ€™t.
