I think there is a GitHub roadmap item for bicep team to get a similar feature built in. although, not sure that would fix the potential limit concerns or just give users an easy func to call on for each role guid. if so that would work better and make this obsolete which would be neat

It’s definitely a consideration. Especially as I only use AVM now so I usually stray close to the 4mb because of that anyway. Nice to have the option in the repo I think. Even if I only use it to find the guid in my workflow quicker vs pattern load in. Vs leaving code and going on a manhunt on azgov
