I hear you... But then I would argue just use curl.exe ... What you're saying about PWSH is normal behavior for us. Give me more and let me decide what I want back. You don't HAVE to use PWSH to run curl... But I get your point.

It's actually not; Invoke-WebRequest is just more verbose, meaning it's gives you MORE detail in the default output. With a simple addition of just returning the content, you get the exact same output. #PowerShell

I really do feel for the #netflix engineers, but it just feels like this whole broadcast has been a hot mess. This is just not enjoyable when every 2 minutes is a buffer issue. You can literally tell when the action is getting ready to start and when people return to the feed... #tyson

Not sure why you're coming with the heat... It's a language and it has a purpose... If you think python is better... You're free to think that... But PowerShell is by far the best choice for the Microsoft ecosystem. Also comp sci programs are basically devoid of any infra and cloud education ...

are you saying PowerShell scripts aren't a legitimate solution or are you referring to the windows activation process?

i have it enabled through built fingerprint reader in my Dell laptop. However, i use facial recognition via Windows Hello daily. mostly a postive experience.

I don't miss isa slots and dip switches or having to change the boot order to boot off a floppy... Good riddance

Fair point but i think it depends on scope. I manage Microsoft and Azure.. PowerShell is a much better choice than Python for those workloads... but i think the real answer is to learn both because each language has strengths over the other and you cover more ground with both than one or the other.

I am still not seeing where the problem is... Yes PowerShell is not the same as c# or others but your implying it's not powerful or complex.

You have the entire dot net library available to use as well as apis .

It sounds like it couldn't do something specific to you... Care to elaborate?
