No lying or making yourself out to be a cool kid.
Post the first record you bought.
If you can remember the shop or circumstances add that too. Local color appreciated.

Bought with money I got for my 14th birthday in the only record shop in Swords at the time (whose name escapes me)

Probably stems from the fact, aside from genuine human decency, that one of them tried to end his career by digging up his old tweets. Kinda backfired, that...

I genuinely believe that the person or persons who discover the causes of the excess number of knee injuries in women's rugby, football and Gaelic games & comes up with a way to reduce their occurance should be awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine.

Some rail services will not be running this Bank Holiday weekend All services across the country will operate on a revised timetable.

Likely not helped by the fact that there are no train services operating north of the river due to works.
Thankfully there are no major events in Dublin this bank holiday weekend that this will negatively impact... πŸ€”πŸ‰πŸƒ

Twice on TNT Sports comms, Darren Fletcher has described Arthur Theate as an international team-mate of Virgil van Dijk.

Arthur Theate is Belgian.

Virgil van Dijk, rather famously, isn't.

Not to be a vocabulary pedant towards the no-doubt eminently qualified Grauniad sub-editor here, but "misadventure" is not the opposite or negative of "adventure"
A misadventure is an accident, a mishap or an incident resulting in negative consequences. You can't say any of that applies to LRZ here

It's both FF & FG tbf
No doubt they've always done it but you'd think with a century of practice they'd have it down to an art yet they're so very, very bad at it
What they've come up with is the political equivalent of "Yeah but... but... yer ma buys your shoes in Penneys!"
Absolutely cringeworthy.

Farrell should have been there ahead of Henshaw on Day 1 anyway, although I will say Henshaw was one of very few Leinster players to come out of Saturday with any credit. The other is Alex Soroka who I'd like to see added as a training player in Gleeson's place. He's started the season really well

This #PresidentialElection campaign goes down as one of the worst in my voting lifetime: weird without being sufficiently interesting, unedifying without being sufficiently dramatic
But look, we might end up with a president who does keepy-uppies with the ROI team when she meets them at the AvivaπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

All that said, for the first time in 30yrs, I am not certain if I'm actually going to vote at all
I don't have any ideological issues with the candidates but I have no particular grΓ‘ for them either. I'll probably make my mind up at the 11th hour (literally: the polling station is 5mins walk away!)

I literally have no idea what Heather Humphreys stands for, bar a few light (i.e. safe, non-inflammatory) comments around Irish unity because her side have been so bad at actually putting her out there or putting their side of the story across. They'd much rather throw weak jabs at their opponent.
