You also affect the weird spaces (pseudoscapes) with your SWORD. A Supernaturally Weird Object Resonance Director which are dorky items like a toy katana, a novelty mug, or broken mp3 player to essentially cast magic to hurt scary shadow men and stuff

Late night post: currently working on a small scale game where you're a civilian team of people exposed to high strangeness that have to dive into alternate spaces to keep weird shit from flooding into the material world. The vibe is dollar store x files/delta green with absolutely no gov backing
