Yesterday in Parliament, Labour and Co-operative MPs and Government Ministers welcomed new powers to save local assets like pubs, cafes, and sports venues.
Catch up with yesterday's day in Parliament π

π₯ Today on #InternationalNursesDay, I want to recognise the incredible work nurses do every single day.
Thatβs why we delivered a pay rise β with 1,500 nursing vacancies in the East Midlands, action was needed. If we want nurses, we need to pay for them.

Happy Easter everybody!
At this time of year, I like to remember the eternal values that Jesus Christ espoused. Of empathy (Matthew 7:12), forgiveness (Matthew 5:7), and our duty to future generations (Psalm 89).
I hope you all have a great day with friends and family.
On May 1st every vote is going to matter.
Make sure your vote counts!
