He also sheds after the Void quests (because he has semi-normal aether for once in his life), and after Dawntrail (the climate changes and especially the humidity).

He's especially annoyed by the post-DT one because that's the "oops it's only been 6 months" one.

His scale pattern actually changes every time he sheds, depending on the state of his aether at the time. Which is why in ShB (a lot of which he spends in a sort of extended shed because of the excess of Light and how sick he is), his scales end up mostly white and gold

HOLLE DOES.

He *should* shed annually, but because his aether is messed up, it's very unpredictable. Longest he's gone between sheds is 2 years (that shed hit in StB and it was particularly bad), shortest was 6 months.

It annoys the hell out of him, but is better w his bfs to help him.
