(if you think that i draw and post this stuff because my fursona is meant to be a sympathetic example of morally correct behaviour, you might be an idiot) 2. the annotations are meant to look like an incoherent mockery of a bad political cartoon, poking fun at the human tendency to launder our ugly gut feelings (jealousy) through a rich washing machine of post-hoc ideological justifications - i can't just admit that i feel bad about other people having fun, i need to construct reasons for why their fun is Wrong and my resentment is Moral and Dignified 3. if you actually READ the annotations, they provide a surprisingly coherent explanation for why i feel physically excluded from american furry conventions: all of the labels on my fursona's side of the dotted line describe various imaginary "threats" that were actually cited in the 2025 news cycle as valid justifications for the united states to close itself off from the world, which is (most directly) the reason i chose not to travel to MFF this year
