I think what appeals so much to me about cozy danger is the pleasant satisfaction from the one who's coiling you, even getting off a bit at the way you are struggling. And it's also that focused attention you get that I really love. Its perilous, but not degrading. In fact you're kind of treasured.

You can put too much sugar in your coffee. There is such a thing as too sweet.

Sometimes I want something bitter or really spicy, even though I know it'll be uncomfortable in some ways. The key is that I'm making the choice to experience that discomfort.

Maybe I'll politely steal that look and build off it for my own designs 😈

If you draw with a pen, try to arrange shortcuts to be reachable on one size of the keyboard, so that you can use one hand for any key combination.

Create your own shortcuts for your art application bit by bit as you go through. Don't wait for a day to figure it out all in one sitting. Do it organically by observing the things you do most, and assigning a shortcut to that. More likely to use shortcuts that way.

In a way it's almost like dancing. I choose a kind of dance, with different rhythm of strokes and pauses, and the character of the movement is reflected onto the page. I can just kind of follow the flow of what comes

When I practised being conscious of my tempo of drawing, I also realized that I could alter the ratio of line speed and pause time, and/or add more stroke between pauses, and that would further alter my style. I leaned I can change my style by how I move my hand and arm.
