Today really did strike back. The prophecy has been fulfilled.
This MONOLITH MONSTERS remake is really going for it.
Time to open Planet Hooters!
What a trio!
Athena Voltaire!!!!
Going to see the Descendents tomorrow night so of course I’ve spent a lot of today listening to my favorite live album of all time.

Podcast got me thinking about the time I walked into a store with a Superman jacket on & the cashier said "Do you know what that symbol means? It's hope!"
She went on to tell me how her brother had survived multiple brain surgeries and the personal connection he felt to Superman was his lifeline.
That just made me tear up. What an incredible experience.
I guess that all depends on your personal ethics.
This is some real, “We noticed you from across the bar and like your vibes.”
I feel so bad that I didn’t realize until just now that one of the members of Cold Slither is here on BlueSky.
Hello @sewage666.bsky.social!
"Fictional characters, real heroes" is spot-on.
As is Gus' poignant articulation of why these characters mean so much to our generation.
My dad traveled for work and then my parents went through an ugly divorce, so I similarly felt connected to the Joes as role models and father figures.
Gus' commitment to the Zartan role and fighting back personal gratitude to inhabit Zartan's assholery is incredibly cool.
And I think he's right that Zartan is the most dangerous Cobra villain. Destro is neck and neck but his toxic relationship & preoccupation with Cobra Commander limits him.
I was front and center at SDCC to watch Cold Slither knock em Dread.
It was great to hear Gus talk about the power of these things that occupy our hearts at a young age and how he was able to channel that into something truly special.
Hear the thunder. 🐍🤘
It would be like attending a training session lead by Professor Ivo about the ethical use of Amazo.
I was cackling while watching the episode.
How about a “Round Kid”?

In the episode Gus and I talk about one of the greatest moments in television history:
Cobra soldiers in uniform waiting in line to collect unemployment checks!
GI Joe does not get enough credit for its sharp sense of humor.
Which makes a lot of sense when you consider that Steve Gerber was a story editor (and praised the creative freedom he had on the show).
You are doing amazing work all around!
I’m in Illinois so I can’t attend, but if you’re anywhere close to the Hollywood Hills you should go to this!
I loved part 3 for the expansive cast of playable characters. The story was somewhat tiresome, but once free play was unlocked I had a blast!
