As time has gone on, this notion has trickled out through content creators and social media, and I think a lot of players out there are beginning to understand this piece. But I really want to emphasize it. It's on each of you to be as honest as you can in evaluating your deck. Don't be afraid to bracket up or at least have a pregame conversation about what your deck is trying to do. And if you're building your deck to be technically in bounds by the card guidelines but substantially stronger than what other people are doing at that bracket so you can stomp them, then you are being a bad actor.

Fucking *thank you* Gavin. No more beating around the bush. Calling out folks who game a casual format to be pubstompers as straight up bad actors is long overdue.

We're currently experiencing a critical issue with card categories, preventing users from successfully editing decks. We've temporarily brought down the site while we work to resolve things. We apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime!

A deck poem generator was added to the site back in 2023 as an April Fools’ joke. Using ChatGPT and some prompting on our end, it produced a few stanzas of pretty terrible rhyme, explicitly referencing cards found in your deck. Though it was initially intended to be up only for a couple days, folks were having fun so we kept it around. As a minor feature within an infrequently-used menu, we honestly haven’t given it much thought since. When the generator was released, ChatGPT was still a relative novelty. However, the discourse surrounding AI has evolved a great deal over the past couple of years and its dangers have become more apparent. There are serious issues surrounding generative AI and we believe it’s far more responsible to take a hardline against it than to try and weigh the merits of any individual use. For that reason, we’ve removed the deck poem generator from the site. The Archidekt Team
