Another week goes by, another slow crawl towards episode completion. Consider supporting our indie series patreon so we can continue to make eps and hopefully get enough funding to get them done much faster.

Box art for Critical Role's Mighty Nein CLUE(DO). The Mighty Nein walk down a dark alley, surrounded by mysterious shadows. Nott and Jester sit at the front, looking at the viewer while investigating some sort of mystery.
I experimented with Blender and using 3D for the initial composition for this piece. It depicts a "new born" Keeper, a tall creature made of wood, coming out of their birthing pit. It has multiple heads and a wheel-like piece on it's back, that it's still ticking to the pit green slimy contents. Helping it coming out are two Kynda, these are smaller, woodland creatures. The one in front has leafy hair and flowing clothing.

a lone knight swathed in green armour stands in the dark, knee deep in water, holding an axe. from where she holds it, the metal of her weapon is slowly transforming into sprouting leaves and vines. behind her are several weapons that have long since turned into twisting branches that blend in with the surrounding flora. roots that resemble clawed hands cling to the handles of these weapons.
a gothic horror au interpretation of jayce and viktor from arcane. a dishevelled jayce stands, holding a bloodstained silver hammer, looking up with watery eyes. there's blood staining his face and splattered on his clothes and armour, with scratches marring his leather coat. his left hand is balled into a fist, rot and blood coating his skin. in the background is a semi-eroded, semi-hollowed out, golden statue of a younger him, illuminated from behind by golden fire. golden claws reach out to this statue. framing this, is a structure made up of pale brick and rotting arches. within the arches flanking jayce on either side, are broken stained glass images of him as piltover's man of progress. for viktor's illustration: viktor stands, looming, holding a staff which carries an eerie, pale flame in its clawed crown. his mask is partially broken, exposing only his human right eye. he holds a clawed hand up to his chest, where red flesh in the vague shape of a heart is exposed, with five puncture marks in it. behind him is a broken, stone statue of his younger self– his face has sliced off the statue and is slipping down. framing him is a stone structure comprised of three main archways, with vein-like ornamentation and clawed hands reaching out to viktor in reverance. within the thicker pillars of this structure, are small arched frames, depicting viktor's transformation through magic.
Marcille is sewing a large patchwork quilt of Falin, with her thread being depicted as a long, thin, bloody sinew. Varying shades of red are used in the quilt, with some patches portrayed as parts of the Red Dragon. Falin's skeleton is used as the main component of the quilt's pattern work; her face split into two patchwork pieces at either side of her skull as Marcille slowly sews it back together. Beneath her ribs, is a large centre piece depicting a heart, with a silhouette of Falin lying on top of it. Tiny figures of Laois and Falin as a child stand on the quilt, looking at each other.

13.01.2026 14:50 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0An eldritch entity of bones and blood-red light breaks free of a prison of crimson roots after thousands of years. She looks up at a golden sky for the first time in many ages as her brothers (and jailors) watch on.
A previously glorious cathedral or castle lays in ruins now, potentially millennia later. The entire landscape is colorless, showing a misty, destroyed landscape, and a distant, looming darkness.
Four versions of the same character have half-bodies drawn in various poses. Lit by a smoking potion bottle is Mort, a friendly pathologist, in blue robes and hood. Lit by a possible candle is also Mort, reading a book. He looks concerned and kind. On the other side, lit from a stark white light from above is an additional Mort, wearing a metallic plague doctor like helm. He's in fancy attire and holds a warscythe. At the top is a fourth and final Mort, lit from behind by dark magic, wearing a silly grinning bronze skull-mask, and holding a voodoo doll. He's threading the doll with a bright blue string that ties all the other Morts together.
A top-down battlemap of a room covered in crimson vines vaguely shaped like a heart. A massive bovine-adjacent skull is trapped there. A blood-red light glows from its eyesockets and the gaps between the roots.
Howdy, #PortfolioDay!
I'm Batty, primarily a digital artist (but I dabble in traditional paints). I make character art for friends and visual aids for my own VTT group (and sometimes maps).
I like lighting (a lot) and try to use colors and lights to help tell stories.
A thin, emaciated woman in a raggedy old cloak. Her clothes look beat up. A dagger and a flask are connected to her belt, and a shoulder-bag is slung over her chest. A funky little skull keeps her cloak pinned together. She's holding onto a staff made of bones and holding her hand under a floating, glowing lantern. Wisps of light- possibly souls- dance around the lantern.
Just a small medium at large. More Lysabet, my forsaken necromancer.

The original Far Side Cow Tools Cartoon by Gary Larson. A cow stands on its hind legs behind a table, staring blankly at the viewer from behind its heavy brow ridge. On the table are four crudely made tools: a lump, a lump with an offset crooked handle, a long stick with hooked prongs at the end, and a crude handsaw with irregular teeth. In the background a barn sits on a hill. Caption reads, "Cow tools."
43 years ago today, readers the world over opened their newspapers and gazed upon cow tools for the first time. happy birthday cow tools. you look great.

She has an empty hood, and her legs trail off into ragged, cloth-like wisps. Parts of the ghost are damaged and sewn together by pale blue stitches. Her lower arms are just the shapes of bones, and her hands are claws. Her left arm is shattered, and sort of stuck in place by mysterious means.
The ghost from the previous image is now floating in front of the windows of a giant spectral lantern: three blue windows with a crossbar through them. Below the ghostly figure are a lot of shadowy, reaching hands, all seem intent on grabbing at or for the ghost.
Happy Halloween! My very tattered and torn-up #ghost for your amusement-- she's a wraith, to be exact. #warcraftart
This was anti-burnout art. Something different, and for myself. Been wanting to make art of Lysa's ghostly self for a while, but man, a lot's been happening. So, here it is.

On the wall surrounding the arch are many colourful murals depicting more humanoid crow figures with halos, carrying various items including swords, spears, harps, and chalices.
A painting set in a cosy shady woodland clearing on a sunny summer's day. In the centre of the frame, two figures sit on a fallen log mostly hidden by vegetation. The figure on the right has wavy blonde hair down past her shoulders, and wears a flowing white floor-length dress with long sleeves, with delicate lacework around the cuffs and neckline. She looks into the distance with a contemplative, sad expression. On her lap rests a small green book, covered by both of her hands. The figure on the left sits leaning with her head against shoulder of the other figure. She wears a similar dress but simpler, and in a dark slate grey. Her hair is dark and straight, and flows down her tilted face, and she looks off towards a nightingale bird perched on a nearby branch. She raises a hand towards the other figure as if to get her attention. Both figures are surrounded by various flowers. On the left of the frame are many spires of foxglove flowers in vivid pink and white, interspersed among green stinging nettles. On the right are the purple flowers of monkshood/wolfsbane. Wrapping around the figures is a clear stream flowing from a distant pond that descends in a series of steps. Around the stream are many small mossy rocks, and shoots of dark green dog's mercury. Above and behind the figures and flowers are two trees; on the left is a weeping willow with dangling dark green leaves. On the right are the branches of an old ash tree.
A snowy scene in which a humanoid figure in long black robes with the head of a rook stands in a churchyard holding a long spear. By its feet is a red fox. Both are flecked with fallen snow. Around them are many weathered snow-covered graves. In the background is a medieval church of warm coloured stone with large rectangular windows and a battlemented parapet topped with pinnacles. Behind the main body of the church is the tower with clock face and belfry. Behind the church are tall but bare trees dusted with snow. More snow falls in the air.

Halloween is like a modern version of the three goddesses/witches archetype repeated through human myth. Like the Hecate, the Moiroi or the Norns, American All Hallows has 3 faces: Sexy Halloween (maiden/youth) cute Halloween (children/mother) and scary Halloween (crone/death), all separate but one.
