Hating on Star Trek is a 60 year old tradition. TNG had the same outrage when that came out and now it's the gold standard
I really think they learned thier lessions from Discovery where they did not flush out the bridge crew that much. I like that they went back to sharing the spotlight with different main characters.
The Klingon episode was my favourite so far. Reminded me of Undiscovered Country. I enjoyed the character growth of Jay-Den. General Wochak gives me Daddy Issues 🥵. The one after with Cirroc Loften in the emissary made me ball my eyes out NGL. Sad we have to wait another year after this episode 😭
