Those third-party apps were very handy. Was nice to have a more customizable experience compared to the bland, lifeless site it is today

I probably should clarify, twitter itself never had a mass delete function, but all the 3rd party apps for it cost money now because twitter started charging for access to its API.
I'm surprised it isn't a 'twitter blue' feature tbh. They already lock so many other things behind a paywall

I feel like I've been on a serious downward spiral these past few months and nothing's gonna get better unless I make some real changes.
I'm not trying to get attention--I just think I might actually hold myself accountable if I say this where somebody could be listening.

As long as you love making them, I feel like you're more than halfway there y'know? Drawing comics gets easier with time, but a passion for creating things is hard to find. Wishing you the best of luck!

I really do like the sound of having a smaller sketchbook that isn't such a burden to carry around, and going in with the mindset of "everything I do in here is for my eyes only" does seem like it would take the pressure off. I sketch a lot digitally, but a lot of times I'll go into a sketch--

Mhm good point, that must be a part of it too. I worry that every time I take a break I'm "falling behind". Something about seeing all the cool stuff everybody else is making gets me feeling antsy lol.

It is very good advice, but I've always had a tough time following it. There's this annoying feeling in the back of my head where I really want to see this comic done, but I *really* don't want to work on it. It's hard to allow my brain to shift focus, y'know?

I getcha. I thought you might've been going for a "touch grass" sort of response tbh, but yes walking away and getting some fresh air is always a good first step.

Hmm interesting tidbits of info. I can definitely understand why Schulz would've been so eager to stock up on the pens. I had read about his hand tremors and I'm glad he didn't let that stop him. The wobbly look of later Peanuts feels so endearingly sincere, which is very fitting for that comic

True. I wouldn't mind if my style evolved between comics, but I'd like for everything in a single story to look coherent. I guess that's easier said than done

It can be stressful to look back on a conversation and wonder "should I have said that?", but I try to remind myself that social anxiety always makes things seem worse in hindsight. People we talk to probably aren't analyzing what we say as closely as we do, y'know?
