Storm Amy destroyed my cosmos!

Storm Eowyn blew down my fence and I've put up a new one. The fence actually is the responsibility of my neighbour, but there seem to be squatters next door (as it's been empty for ages) & I felt a bit vulnerable!

She chaperones special needs kids and one of them punched her in the face and she went down. Not malicious on anyway.

To be fair, with how busy it was, I'm surprised it was that quick!

Ok, we're out! Took 4 hours, but phew, the old bird is ok, bruised, but OK.

Now a cup of tea in bed.

Yup, 4 hour wait! She's OK, just sore.

My mum fell over today & I've brought her to A&E and it's heaving! Friday night is the night everyone comes to get fixed apparently. Gonna be here till the am I guess.

I found this ladybird crawling around my office, so I grabbed it and put it outside (ladybird, ladybird, fly away home) and it turned around and stared at me through the window as if you say, bitch why you evict me?!

Did my own lil bake off today. Even put it in the fridge to cool down so I could get the icing on sooner so I could eat it.

Verdict: moist & soft, but would have been better without the icing. No Hollywood handshake for me!

Get a call at 2:30am asking if I could drive across town to babysit cos one of the nephews has croup and they need to take him to the dr & the other niblings are in bed asleep. I was also asleep but I did indeed drive across town & I hate sleeping in a strange bed.
