Join us at the Bunker on Sunday for our FREE drop-in Walk-Up Paddling! We're a host site for the amazing @openhousenewyork weekend, so our normal walk-up hours are extended! Come by 10:00am — 6:00pm on Sun, October 19th and we'll get you on the water. Family friendly! Come one, come all!

We had a full house on our last full-moon paddle of the season! What a beautiful evening and a wonderful way to wrap the full moon tours. A bit blustery but our paddlers were enthusiastic and a good time was had by all!

We had a great visitor to our walk-up at 2nd st. this past weekend. Hello heron!

There are only 2 more walk-ups scheduled at 2nd St. (October 12 & 25th) before we close for the season. We LOVE paddling in October- the weather is perfect. Mark your calendars now!!

This weekend Unheard-of//ensemble held their album release party for Fire Ecologies to close out the floating-dock season. The weather was beautiful, the crowd wonderful and the post-performance hang out was a joy. It was a truly magical evening.

We can't wait to see what they dream up next! 👏 👏

Socialize with the Dredgers at our BUNKER (2 19th St, off of 3rd Ave) for a casual volunteer orientation, member catch-up and paddle! We’ll gather at 6:30 to start the orientation and aim to be on-water around 7:15, as long as the weather is good.

UPDATE: This weekend's FREE public walk-up paddling is MOVED to Bush Terminal Piers Park in Sunset Park. Try our canoes, sit-on-top kayaks, stand-up paddleboards or a rowboat!

Yesterday, thanks to our awesome volunteers, we hosted paddlers at BOTH 2nd St. for walk-up and 19th St. for a guided sunset tour, plus our weekly bluegrass jam. What a great cross-section of the kind of programming we do!

🛶 Wednesday Night Walk-Up Paddling is back! 🛶
We’re so excited to welcome walk-up paddlers on Wednesday evenings at the Boathouse during the Boathouse Jams! Paddling will be 6:30 - 8pm July 2, 9, 23 and August 6. A great opportunity for week-night paddle adventures!

What fun at the boathouse this weekend for the launch of the new Unheard-of//Ensemble sound paddle! The sound paddle will be available at all of our walk-ups for the season. Just scan the QR code and launch! We'll even have little speakers you can pair your phone with for your paddle.

Canoe camp!! Weekend one was a blast, we can't wait for round two with our intrepid campers. Our cohort will 'graduate' from camp as Steward Members for the rest of the season, with the skills to help plan, assist and guide tours and activities. We can't wait!

7th Annual Pride Paddle!! What a gorgeous night, what a wonderful crew, what a beautiful paddle. We got to honor Brendan Donohoe of @loaferscocktailbar as our Grand Marshal, pick perfectly ripe mulberries on Rebar Beach, paddle with friends new and old. 🛶 🏳️‍🌈

Our boathouse art shows (curated by the wonderful Pam Wong) start up again this month!
"Rhythm & Flow" by David Barthold and Josh Lambert brings together the vibrant, material-driven practices both artists in a dynamic dialogue of structure, motion, and pattern. Come by and check it out!

It's almost time for our very first CANOE CAMP FOR ADULTS!! There's still some time to register, so join up now! This four-session program runs over two weekends — June 7-8, June 14-15 (Saturday & Sunday) — 10am -1:30pm.

What a weekend! A canoe photo-booth at Thomas Greene Park, the 20th Anniversary show of the @ukulelecabaret , poetry of the Persistence of Cormorants (run by @hrw1861 ) and our very first Canoejam! Plus walk-up paddling of course! 🛶

12 high school & college students from Kroka Expeditions paddled from Lake Champlain to New York City in handmade wooden canoes to finish their 4-month long, human-powered Full Circle Semester. They landed at our dock at 19th. We love that we were able to be a small part of this amazing journey!
