As a kid, summertimes were spent camping in the Smoky Mountains. The area is studded with gem mines, and one year I unearthed a whopper of a topaz. Cut it came in at 6.66 carats! Devil’s bargain? I finally set it after all this time. Sized to my middle finger in case I need it for emphatic gestures.
