I saw that book trailer as well and was wondering if the author agreed to it. So sorry to hear he certainly hadn't. That's the sort of thing no publisher should assume a writer is okay with. Or had he approved it and liked it before seeing some bad reaction?

Reading the most wonderful debut novel, The Witch of Willow Sound by Vanessa F. Penney and loving the wordplay. For every 'cruddy and messed up' colloquialism there is high flying poetry beside it. I really recommend it, even half way through.
