Since M/M was in Jade Empire and Dragon Age, I assumed it would be in Mass Effect too. It's one of the few games I pre-ordered bc I was so excited. 😮‍💨

Feelings are valid. I dropped out after I found out I couldn't date Kaidan/have a M/M relationship in ME1. I followed the game/story somewhat still but never played anything until I got Andromeda on a sale.
I even complained to a former ME staffer who was at a con I attended; they were sympathetic.

So I went ahead and requested off from work too, and started looking into travel options.
I waited too long to figure that out last year.
Gotta find a place nearby to stay this year too.

Given that it will probably be a similar situation to how I got the PS4 (where I had to wait for years and got a once in a lifetime sale/opportunity, and then had no money to buy anything to go with it for a long time), those free PS+ games will probably come in handy. 😅

I even collect the PlayStation 5 ones although I don't own a PlayStation 5 and at this rate probably never will.

It's somewhat amusing that I will have this whole collection of PlayStation 5 only games already if I ever do get one.

I've been a minimum subscriber to PlayStation Plus for years now off and on but mostly on. I always try to collect the free monthly games for my tier even though usually they're not games that I would enjoy playing.

I'm already in a Warframe clan so I probably won't switch to join the one my SkyForge pantheon has or may create. But maybe we can link up in another game.

Like Warframe and Smite, I started playing SkyForge when I got my PS4 and didn't have money for any actual games. So I've been playing it just as long as WF (about a decade), just not as consistently.

I always thought I'd reinstall or update and jump back in to see if anything was new or just for nostalgia. I feel sad about missing the last hangout, especially seeing pics our pan leader took and posted in the PS community chat. Might be the first time I'd have seen a game server go down myself.

The game is still in beta, and feels a bit empty yet, with some modes missing and still adding characters from the old game.

Or maybe I've changed in the decade since I started SMITE 1. I can play 2-4 matches a night if I don't have anything else I want to play more, and then I'm bored of it.

Finally started SMITE 2. It looks good, and while I'm unhappy at losing all the content I'd unlocked (and paid for in some cases) over the years when I played actively, I did enjoy getting back into it with a couple of core characters I originally started with and played most.

But honestly, they could use the remake treatment. Clean up the graphics some so they look nice and they'll sell themselves. Not a full rebuild like FF7 remake.

Also yes I'd love to finish Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon. Lost Odyssey was unique IMO in terms of story, mechanics, and music. Blue Dragon had that Dragon Quest vibe while also telling a serious story. I borrowed these from someone so I would have to find both the games and the console.

This reminds me that I played Jade Empire with the X360 backward compatibility and it was nearly unplayable due to slowdown in the flooded village area/section. I even wrote to MS about it. I think I just suffered through and was able to finish the game after that. Prolly too many objects on screen.

Been playing The First Descendant all day since I can't get Warframe to work right.

Been able to unlock more Descendants and ultimate weapons lately compared to when I was playing before.

Still having issues on the handheld PC though, despite it being better than when I was playing on PS4.

A new dungeon-crawling RPG with D&D style and Undertale's vibes sold me completely after just ten minutes with its demo Combining D&D dungeon crawling, sharp combat, and the unserious vibes of Undertale, I'm completely sold on Fix-a-Bug's new Steam RPG.

Not sure I'd enjoy this game due to the pixel art style but the other elements seem fun.
