1cc'd the new Touhou Makuka Sai on Lunatic first try, lol... not like I was playing well, you just get tons of resources and it has both PCB borders and IN death bombs

Probably my favorite anime this season, and one of my favorites this year, maybe #3 after Apocalypse Hotel and NinKoro.

Finale of Turkey! was quite good, just like the rest of the show. What could have been a forgettable gimmick series instead demonstrated some serious heart, picking up the split by balancing its absurd premise with sincere and poignant writing.

Started groupwatching Key the Metal Idol. Big fan of the characteristic 90s moodiness, and I'm intrigued to see how it plans to bring all of the disparate elements of the plot together.

Fucked up that Tanaka Kunihiko designed both Key and KOS-MOS.

We probably won't get back to Gundam/Tomino for a while, but it feels good to have completed the 0079-CCA journey. It's made me appreciate Turn A a lot more in retrospect.

CCA on the other hand was a lot of fun. 2 hours of pure, concentrated Tomino, presented with top-notch movie production values. I'm still digesting what exactly it Means in my conception of Gundam as a whole, but definitely an entertaining movie.

ZZ had some individual elements I really liked, such as the found family angle with Judau and Puru, but I felt as though the overarching plot ended up being largely a retread of concepts already expressed in 0079 and Zeta with a superfluous layer of Newtype mysticism. Not a big fan overall.

Finished ZZ Gundam last week and just got done watching CCA.

I finished Library of Ruina a few days ago. It ended up leaving a very strong impression on me. It's really a one of a kind game, combining one of the best turn-based combat systems ever with thematically rich storytelling reminiscent of the best VNs and classic literature.

The only thing I want from it is more SoL scenes with the Sephirot.........

It has a reputation for being really difficult but I haven't had that much trouble with anything except FUCKING Judgement Bird so far, you get tons of powerful options and most deck types you can think of are viable

Figuring out the interface is harder than playing the game itself, unironically
