I don't know who needs to hear this but autistic people, especially women, make up a surprisingly high proportion of patients with eating disorders, tend to benefit less from standard treatments, and many do not have an autism diagnosis at the time they're in treatment for an eating disorder.

I'm not sure what you could be basing that on there are lots of studies that show harm at lower levels than that and it's now widely accepted. Including but not only some of the work I'm involved in.

It's not paranoia, why risk it?

This is an artifact of not controlling for all known confounders and the non drinking group containing people who did drink/have never drunk.

The Dr gave bad advice it's best not to have even one drink of alcohol.
