Mr. Weir looks comfortable with that Fisher. Toe clips....he knows how to ride.

Very fun, teaching the concept of a formation with what you got.

Wondering again on the back story. Why the bike? Front wheel a qr, but spun on like a lever, not as a cam, but that can work. Foot in the toe clips, he looks comfortable on that bike, so not a photo prop. This CCR rode.

Double sided rear hub. Oh, I do hope it's on the fixie side. I do I do I do.

Bare feet no less, with some nice metal behind him.

You have to wonder at the back story. Cycles Cottereau was like others around 1900 both a motorcycle and bicycle manufacturer. This was to sell bicycles, not make social statements. "A bike so smooth a nursing mother can speed away from the Gendarmerie"?

Not unlike M. Jagger, seems comfortable with the toe clips. Not so much a staged shot, he seems to ride this machine. Good for him.

A bit relieved it is over, as now many more races are running and being streamed. The TdF does tend take all the oxygen in the room.

Yes, quite the cool machine. Condor as pointed out, very Brit indeed. Mr. Jagger knows how to use a toe clip, and he looks comfortable on the thing, rocking, as is said, the bar con shifters.

Cool indeed. Matching covers for mallet and down tube, plus on a flipflop hub, that looks turned to the fixie side for better bike polo action. Body armor for this goalie, suggesting not posed shot.

Though the dominate brand then, it does not appear to be a Schwinn shop. Possibly Ms Ronstadt is on a Nishiki? Nice mix of bikes, including a Raleigh DL-1 3-speed in background, and a race bike on the wall.

The classic white tail of the British 3 speed rear fender. Seems so common among those upright models. Approximately 8-10cm of white, with a reflector.

That is a nice drop bar single speed, something unexpected for a rising movie star to be using. He looks comfortable on it, not like it is just a prop. Wonder what movie was being shot during this time?

Washington DC is a great place to ride a bike. Mr. Bernstein here on a Huffy, with 3-speed twist shifter and also with cottered cranks.

Schwinn LeTour, in opaque blue. Lugged mixtie frame. A nice machine indeed.

A nice little folder. Maybe a Brompton, but maybe an early Hon? Shouldn't JP be on a french model? Toe clips however, impressive.

Very interesting design. Built-To-Purpose. Check that low low bottom bracket. You would not pedal this on the ground, but that low bb likely adds to stability on the tight wire. Very fun.

What a nice mix of parts. Guessing the frame is an older English three speed, so assume a Raleigh. But the wheels are not, too skinny it seems. Brakes, bars, stems, bars see OEM. Single speed now, but likely once had a Sturmey-Archer hub.

Moustache bars, so mandatory cool bike points there. Then add the clamp-on housing guides, a clean graphic look, a single speed and that radial front. Cool indeed.

Hard to believe this is a studio supplied ride. Sporting those early drop bars, side pull brakes and toe clips. Just the semi-clips, as Mr. Fonda is in cowboy boots, but it is quite the racer. There must be more behind this story.

Tro Bro: the best named single day race ever. A great race this year. The pig is the cherry on top!

Those bars and brake lever set up is very interesting. Wonder what year this is? Bars in the early road races were similar. Kind of an early "gravel", with wide and shallow drops. A bonus bell to boot.

Mr. Byrne is a thinker, author, and speaker on urban planning, and the bicycle figures strongly in those thoughts.
