I actually thought early in the season Yates looked decent, he seemed to have a nice link up with lots of little flicks to runners going beyond him. Now that all evidence of progressive attacking football has dried up it's clear that those flicks were simply to hide his horrendous first touch.

Both more attractive propositions at the start of the season than Derby. Oxford might struggle to recruit next season with Rowett but he'll do enough with whatever is at his disposal. Derby will fishing in a different pond to this season with Eustace at the helm, even in League One.

Since relegation is now all but inevitable, can we at least see what some of the kids who have been doing so well for the 21s have got. There is no possibility of them being worse than the shit on display today.

There is a definite element of players not wanting to play for him, he was the direct reason for the departures of Bird, Sibley & Wildsmith.
