With everything happening at the NSF, you might have missed that they also dissolved 12 of their advisory committees last week.

The committees helped ensure that the NSF supported important science and did so effectively.

The version with the pirate comic woven in is fantastic. It’s basically the original series come to life—for good and for ill—but with a slightly more reasonable unifying threat.
