have CFS, so it might be worse with CFS and with a bad reaction. So far, I feel like π©π© and have crashed into sleep. My brain, words and thumbs are uncooperative, so I might be a bit quiet. But I am okay. I am being looked after. I really appreciate the good vibes. Love to you all πππ π¦
I had a bad reaction a couple of times and rhe second one I was pretty poorly, so they had to stop before the end. I'm okay, they kept an eye on me and I had a Dr with me for a long time. But drunk/hungover at the same time for a few days is a normal response for pts who reacted well and who don't -
Thank you! It definitely made me smile. I would like to see coyotes and deer too, but I will settle for my emotional support mini binturong. I'm hoping that this treatment doesn't make me feel too grotty in the short term and that it brings some pain relief in the longer term.
They are stunning, thank you. We've managed to get a cannula in on the first try, so that's a good start.
Oh no! Fingers crossed it is sorted out quickly π€πΌ
That's a good point, thank you!
If any of you lovely lot happen to have some spare good vibes floating around, could you possibly wing them this way in the hopes for a successful pain infusion later today? I've never had one before and I'm a bit nervous.
I was curious about how this translates vs UK prices, so I found a site that converted our average Β£/litre into $/gallon. $7.55/gallon currently.
We travelled ~200 miles today and I don't want to do the maths for that because we have to do it again in a couple of days π
Clara remains unfazed.
A very cute orc!
Yes, I think he spawned like an orc.
This is not the photo I was looking for before, but it is one that popped up in my memories today and felt appropriate.
Clara and Dexter have been out in the grass too. I let them on to the green in front of the house today, so they could sniff around and apparently wee on the daffodils π I didn't get any photos though because I was chatting to the new neighbour (who they didn't jump or wee on!)
Hi Pisco! π₯°
By cats?
Isn't it? She's tough as old boots, that's for sure!
π₯Ί Hari is magic indeed π
Happy cake day
Only a zoo experience, I'm afraid! We have had the vouchers for a long time. I'd love the real, wild thing, but given half the country gets in a tizzy when beavers are released, it might take a while.
It's beautiful. There's a chap who lives in a house right on the edge and if you book a boat trip at the tourist centre, he drives you to his house and takes you out on his boat. He's lived there his whole life. Even I struggled with his accent a bit though lol.
We're hoping for third time lucky! We're booked in to meet them on the 30th of April, so hopefully that will be plenty of time for both pain treatments to kick in and I'll be ready to wrestle a bear! (Or feed them through a fence).
Apparently so! They have FIVE new regular visitors to climb on all rub the new people smell off of.
Always! And new people to jump all over and lick. Dexter has just spent half an hour licking my niece's shins because she was wearing shorts. He's all tired out now and has gone full croissant π₯
Hopefully! We have to go back up to Birmingham for a few days for my pain infusion, and then we're here for a month (during which the electrician should appear π€πΌπ€πΌ) so hopefully it should start to be a bit more normal during that time? Then I have spine injections and go to Scotland for π»ββοΈπ»ββοΈ!
That's a bit shit.
We just don't have any storage space (or floor space lol) so trying to sort things out feels impossible, but there's nowhere to move any boxes to either! It's like a giant, 3d logic puzzle.
We are stuck in a bit of a chain at the moment. We've unpacked what we can, but we need the electrician to move a heater before the wardrobes can be put up properly and the rest of the bedroom is waiting on that. We need to buy final bits of furniture before the living room can be fully unpacked etc
Aren't they ridiculous? π
Luckily they're still pretty cute now. But I do miss the baby softness.
I know, right? Clara is *still* waiting for us to take him back where he came from though π it's been 10 years!
