Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) on the shooting of Charlie Kirk:
"Political violence, unfortunately, has ramped up in this country ... I think there are people who are fomenting it in this country. I think the president's rhetoric often foments it."
like so many products to come out of silicon valley in the last decade or so, AI is a legal innovation masquerading as a tech innovation. the legal theory seems to be that AI is entitled to everything but liable for nothing.
OK, but Mr President, how will you declassify documents if you fire all the librarians and archivists?
democrats will continue to lose and lose and lose forever because leftists being rude online is "radical violence" but starving thousands of women and children to death is "policy" and guess which one they're committed to condemning
What we have instead of an opposition party is a copy of Robert's Rules of Order that has learned how to do GoFundMes and insider trading
Why doesn't Airdrop work?
"Hydrant system is dry" - LA County Fire, 6:59pm
NOTE: This was in request for assistance on Glenhaven Dr., so I'm guessing they're referring specifically to that area.
We just WISH the drones were aliens. They're cops and insurance companies.
Well apparently a bunch of people may have gotten food poisoning from oysters at an LA Times event.
I've gotten super into food safety issues so here are two articles, one about oysters and one about food poisoning.

None of those reasons and you know it.
people say “you have to judge slaveholders by the morality of their own time, no one knew it was wrong” and then you read about some Quaker named, like, Mr. End-Slavery-Now who was also a feminist and a vegetarian and advocated the overthrow of capitalism.
You morons, you can't repeat the Gilded Age. That's not how history works--it only goes in one direction. Now let me take a big sip of coffee and make sure no nihilistic young Italians have built homemade weapons with which to assassinate robber barons.
Don't reference Louis Pasteur when you talk about milk - he was all about the booze.
Franz von Soxhlet is the guy who developed pasteurization of dairy products.
Israel killed 3 World Central Kitchen workers today, after killing 7 of them in April.
In April they said it was an accident; this time they say 1 worker was Hamas-affiliated.
I wonder if Israel dislikes such a popular group persevering in Gaza.

It is legal to buy raw milk in every state except Hawai'i and Rhode Island.
Those that want to "legalize" raw milk: what legislative changes are you looking for?
Thank you very kindly!
"Legalizing" raw milk won't increase its consumption very much (this is not the kind of thing that scales up) so I'm mostly okay with legalizing it, except so many raw milk enthusiasts seem intent on feeding it to their babies.
WHY?
I think, honestly ... the left needs to get better at propaganda. Fight fire with fire and all that
Also if you're going to de-fluoridate the water you better make dental care free for kids.
Bottled water companies are NOT required to disclose how much fluoride is in their water.
Municipalities ARE required to disclose this.
If RFK Jr changes his stance and says he wants to remove fluoride from ALL water, not just public water, then I'll believe he's in earnest.
I LOVE HER SO MUCH.
The Ethics Committee should've released its Matt Gaetz report the SECOND it heard about his AG nomination.
And now they're just sitting on it. What the hell is wrong with everyone.
If federal law about raw milk retail sales changes, I wonder if there's a better solution than unfettered interstate commerce.
Maybe a "distance from dairy of origin" limitation? You'd really want to limit the potential points of failure for unpasteurized milk.
Any of y'll buy Alexandre milk?
Any of y'all repeatedly experience it going bad before the expiration date?
Yeah, I live for the puffed up sections!
Oh NO! ... how was it?
Well if you're ever in L.A.!
