That is horrible, one of the most disturbing sensations. I'm sorry you have having a bad time. Sadly I have run out of ideas. Have you tried Brown noise?
Its horrible. I feel like I am being electrocuted. I used to use earplugs but the noise cancelling headphones changed all of that. I can use them for music but then it also has 2 noise cancelling modes. The first is near-full cancelling and I can barely hear a thing. The second is 'light' noise.
Noise cancelling headphones and diazepam work for me.

As remakes go this is one of the worst along with another Steve Martin film, Sgt. Bilko. Though technically an adaptation of the TV show and not a remake it's just as bad!

Enjoyable as always Seán. For me though, the whole thing came across as though I was reading a teenagers diary. I remember writing mine 35 odd years back, that things tended to go off on a tangent. Apart from that, loved the episode apart from the errors that you identified.
