fucking hell that Kamasi Washington album from this year is LONG. Feel like it's something I should lap up but I found some of it a slog, like why the fuck is Road to Self (KO) 13 AND A HALF MINUTES LONG?? It kinda fizzles out for me after like 6-7 minutes.

how the fuck am I meant to call an 'album of the year', when people keep dropping incredible records.

This should've been wrapped up in August with Imaginal Disk but NOOOO Geordie Greep had to drop The New Sound and Kendrick had to drop GNX!!

Many huge bangers with a few infectious, more pop-esque tracks sprinkled throughout. Very well produced and Poppy's vocal performance on this is fucking amazing.

Highly recommend.
