A claim is being pushed that two newspapers are the reason we’re pulling operations out of France.

We're aware a small company which wanted to partner with us but was unable to meet our security requirements has been attacking GrapheneOS with misinformation and libel since November 12. We'll write detailed a response to it once our port to Android 16 QPR1 is shipped to Stable.
Releases of GrapheneOS based on Android 16 QPR1 are available for public testing. These are highly experimental and aren't being pushed out via the Alpha channel yet. Join our testing chat room if you have a spare device you can use to help with testing.

Our port to Android 16 QPR1 which was to AOSP on November 11 is currently being tested internally. Several important regressions have been discovered and we're working on resolving those before we release it for public testing. A few minor features also still need to be ported.

Fedora 43 was released yesterday, but we're not switching to an F43 base yet. F43 includes a switch from RPM 4 to RPM 6. This includes a change that breaks upgrades on atomic. A fix is in the works: github.com/coreos/rpm-o...
We'll switch to an F43 base once a fix is merged, tested, and shipped.

Big props to MILES Car & Van Sharing—I got in touch with their customer support because the app didn’t work on @grapheneos.org, ended up chatting with someone who was considering the switch to Graphene (!!) and…the developers have now updated the app to work on secure phones!

We have a thread already debunking this recent line of attack on GrapheneOS at bsky.app/profile/grap.... GrapheneOS quickly provided the June security patches, was ported to Android 16 and is working with a major Android OEM. It's not dying and we haven't said or implied it is.
More privacy and security experts should address Braxman's inaccurate content along with the products and services he sells.
