Somehow they just don't smell at all after a day of a regular use. The only problem is linting, but I solved it with at lint remover. They are expensive, but you don't need so many pairs. Perhaps try with 2 pairs, and see how it goes. Even if you don't like them, they're still good as hiking socks.

I found them online after walking through the airport security with a hole in a new cotton sock 😅 After a few years I'd say they are the Cadillac of the socks 😂 Zero holes, a pair can be worn for at least two days in a row, comfy, warm, breathable, machine washable. I'm a really happy customer.

I completely switched to Darn Tough socks (merino/nylon blend) for all seasons, and I'm quite happy. It's an investment, but I didn't need to change socks for a few years, and there's a lifetime guarantee I didn't yet need to use.
