I’m horrified by the murder of two Israeli embassy staffers at an event in DC last night.

The fact that the gunman said he did it to “free Palestine” makes me nauseous. Murdering people for their nationality is never acceptable and this violence hurts Jews, Israelis, *and* Palestinians.

First of all, all war is awful; innocents tragically die. Innocent Gaza civilians died. And innocent Israeli civilians died. All those deaths are tragic. Members of Hamas were killed. Members of the Israeli IDF killed. That is war.
