You mean using the library created by your very team buddy @developit.dev wasn't considered "being a team player"? Just wow.

Tailwind is rewriting CSS badly by arbitrary syntax.

I know you probably meant something declarative in HTML, but I'd like a *property* instead: a `forElement` that, like `commandForElement`, can refer to an element without an id and even inside or outside a shadow root.

I commented on the article with Heydon't post, and the author *hid my comment* in response.

Is this what development has become to Tailwind user?

Also worth noting that you *hid my comment* only because I linked Heydon't post. You don't sound so open to alternatives now, do you?

It's so, so difficult to imagine ourselves in the place of someone with a disability.
I'm a web developer with decades of experience, I take care of accessibility for my job and I still think I really suck at it. And customers are other not interested!

As an Italian, I say mistakes were made.
You shouldn't mix seafood with cured meat. They don't mix together as flavors and textures at all, the latter is much stronger.
Capers and mushrooms go well with salame, while basil has a too "fresh" of a flavor.
But cooked it perfectly, at the very least.

If text-center is set to declare a red background then you're not using Tailwind: you're just making a mess, full stop. In Tailwind, classes *are* the presentation. Don't fool yourself.

25.05.2025 12:02 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

It's actually 7, but it doesn't matter. It's like saying that React has 0 dependencies. When it comes to *real* code, it's *never* 0 dependencies: you end up installing dozens just to make things *maneageable*: it could be tailwind-merge, clsx, cva... Or IDE plugins.
And also dev deps have a cost.

25.05.2025 09:26 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Because the *content* shouldn't be affected by its *presentation*, hence the separation of concerns.

But you know what? You can still use HTML2. Browsers will support it forever, because that's how the web works. So just use <center> instead of .text-center: one class less, isn't it? And so on.
