Too much dribbling. Going back to the first OKC loss, the issue is when there’s so much dribbling that the Knicks haven’t started an offensive action until there’s 10 seconds on the clock. Then it’s a scramble. It doesn’t work.

I guess the answer is no.

I know disliking Thibs is popular cuz of the minutes issues, but I continue to be annoyed at how often there is a timeout or other stoppage of play & the Knicks come out of it & just fumble. Can we please have a crisp offensive play call to close this game? Ffs.

Yup. They have too much pride to admit it, but the results are obvious. Thunder were rested down the stretch, kept the effort up. Knicks were gassed, led to lack of effort on offense & defensive lapses that were heavily punished. Didn’t help that we lost the first 1/3 of every single quarter too.

I hate the narrative of “wow the Knicks bench played like ass.” What bench? You can’t expect much more out of any bench if every starter is putting in 42ish minutes.

IMO this one came down to solid defense from OKC coupled with lack of offensive adjustments from Thibs, his greatest weakness. Too many times walking up the court unable to even start trying to run a play until there’s 8 seconds left on the clock. Recipe for turnovers.

It’s annoying when they penalize KAT for posting up someone significantly smaller than him. It’s not his fault they crumple when he backs into them.

Knicks game is solid so far, but it would look even better if we made more of our wide open shots. Gotta hit those.
