the storybook really elevates the overall experience imo, it helps give galaxy 2 the story and feel that it always felt was missing :)

Maybe I'm in the minority but I really don't think this Pikmin short is anything more than just an animated short by Nintendo Pictures. I don't get any vibe there's a tease for a game or bigger announcement.

And animation isn't "pointless" because it isn't trying to sell you a specific product.

i can't lie i think i prefer the original versions of mario galaxy 1+2 so far
