Ayah considers herself Lamaty'i's friend first and foremost; she took to her straight away, and really enjoyed having the chance to see Tural with her. They're of an age, and similarly idealistic. Tural and Lamaty'i were exactly what she needed after the harrowing events of the Final Days.

I feel much the same about him and Zenos. They will never do anything more than share intense glances and some quite disturbingly homoerotic fight scenes. If the armor actually came off it would wreck the relationship. They're much more interesting to me with everything unspoken and unresolved.

Ken, for instance, I ship with Yotsuyu... under the strict proviso that they will never get anywhere at all outside of the wildest and weirdest of what-ifs. There's a tension between them that, to me, is the entire point: resolving it would only be a profound disappointment, for me and them both.
