I just wrote this email:

"I am dreadfully sorry for my late reply. I was finishing my doctorate, which took all of my spoons! So, between that and the end of the world, my emails have started to pile up."

and realized:

1) It's so obvious I am British when I type, and

As an astrophysicist I know it may be weird that I read my horoscope (I think that's silly - another topic), but today it told me that someone is going to send me a message that is going to upset me, and now my heart sinks every time my phone goes off 😭😭
