For the third time this month, an indiegame has put a massive smile on my face.
Goodnight Universe puts you in the tiny socks of a baby with psychic and telekinetic powers, trying to help the mamma, pappa, and big sis who can’t understand you.
It’s funny, weird, and unexpectedly touching.
Last Wednesday, I published my first #OneHourIn article, where I talked about my First Impressions of Foolish Mortals and My Little Puppy. Following that was a list of more IndieGames to check out that were released that same week.
Is this a good format? Should I only do one game at a time?
EXCLUSIVE on @gamedeveloper.bsky.social: not only has The Game Awards not nominated a Future Class for 2025, it's told alumni it "does not have any active programming plans" for the award.
The Future Class page was taken down sometime this year—eliminating a definitive archive of honorees.
I can't attend #AdvX25 this weekend, but I'll be checking out any demos I can on Steam and wishlisting whatever catches my attention.
