💫 Delighted to welcome Dmitri Abrahams at the Stanley Burton Centre @uolsbc.bsky.social with his exciting project on Holocaust memory in South Africa funded by an M4C doctoral scholarship, supervised by Dr Zoe Groves and myself - welcome Dmitri!!

Staff and students came together early on a Friday morning to show their support before negotiations.
The negotiations did not lift the threat of compulsory redundancies, so we'll be on strike again in the coming week.

It was wonderful to have our friends from @wienerlibrary.bsky.social and the Holocaust Research Institute at Royal Holloway open their exhibition on the International Tracing Service hosted at the Centre for Regional and Local History and the Stanley Burton Centre @uolsbc.bsky.social last week!

We recently hosted @ceschmidt.bsky.social from the @wienerlibrary.bsky.social and Prof. Dan Stone from Royal Holloway, University of London, for an exhibition sharing heartbreaking cases from the @wienerlibrary.bsky.social International Tracing Service, used to locate missing Holocaust victims

Leicester UCU will be on strike from Monday 29 September until Friday 17 October.
