You can grab most handhold-like parts and use them to climb, there are multiple valid ways of going to a place and you dont feel shoehorned to an specific path.

I personally think that yellow paint is needed because of linearity. Since we are shoehorned into an specific path you cannot use neither your imagination nor your logic to nsvigate.

In Blade and Sorcery, fot example, you dont need yellow paint for a simple reason

I think what a lot of folks are missing about this conversation is that gen AI has wormed its way into everything we do, often in ways we don't realize.
You can't so much as use a search engine. You can't use YouTube.
You may not use ChatGPT, but you are using gen AI EVERY DAY, and that's scary.
