#OLTL 96. It's everything around it that falls apart, and the length of which it's happening is terrible. Asa's fake dementia/amnesia? Viki's new psychologist about to hypnotize her into killing Kevin? The mysterious woman that's about to be a spy in the Buchanan camp? All real bad.
#OLTL 96. I really do hate 1996 a lot BUT - as I zip through a week's worth of episodes in a hour - there's a decent amount on paper that works. Cord taking over Buchanan Enterprises? Sure. Bukes/Lords v. Cramers? Hell yes, always. Patrick/Marty and Antonio/Andy pining? Classic soap.
#OLTL Mar 01. Not that these events were juxtaposed in the same episode or anything but I really question the timing of having Max drug Blair (with a 'gee, ain't I funny' kind of tone) to ruin her wedding compared with the sinister, terrifying way that Colin is drugging Nora in this ep. Not great.
#OLTL Mar 01. I actually don't think Erika Page is that bad as Roseanne. She's very good in this little Colin arc to show Roseanne's desperation. This is really just a case of not having a tie to the canvas with Tea gone and the writers just trying way too many stories to make something stick.
#OLTL Mar 01. I love RJ and Lindsay but it'd never work out because this is yet another man that would put Nora first. But my god, when they let RJ be menacing it's sooooo good.
#OLTL Mar 01.
Lindsay: You're not going to kill him. Because then those letters will go to Bo and Sam and you know it.
RJ: If I hear one more word about Colin's ability to lick stamps from beyond the grave I'm going to kill *somebody*.
Spotted Jessica Tuck on last week's episode of Matlock. Always wonderful to see her pop up places.
Soap fans check out David Fumero (Cristian, One Life to Live) on tonightβs episode of #ThePitt #soapsky #tvsky
The missing children case in Nova Scotia is so unsettling to me. Not just the unsolved aspect of it, but - from the beginning - the absolute willingness of *everyone* involved to talk to the media about the investigation, right down to specific polygraph questions they answered. It just feels weird.
#OLTL 96. Genuine lol that Asa is playing this dementia/amesia schtick where he doesn't even remember who Bo and Clint are, but does somehow remember that Renee is the best wife he's ever had.
They might reach that Dorian/Herb even when they're not together, they're together level of relationships.
#OLTL 96.
Blair: Dickens used to publish his stories just like this! In instalments [in a paper].
Cassie: My mother isn't Dickens! She isn't even Joan Collins!
I have created a diorama of the Partridge family attacking the Brady Bunch family. My life is very boring.
Margo's Got Money Troubles looks cute enough. I haven't read the book, but that's a helluva star-studded cast. With that being said, the quick clips of Nick Offerman as a wrestler is what stood out to me the most lol
#OLTL Mar 01. Hmm. Colin announces he's leaving Llanview (with plane tickets for Dr. & Mrs. R. Butler - GROSS!) and Skye broke up with Max. Things are starting to move.
#OLTL Mar 01. Lol at Colin directly referencing Todd's truth-telling at the wedding as inspiration for his dinner party to tell everyone's secrets.
#OLTL Mar 01. Heh, all the 'previously ons' are Colin yelling at or blackmailing various female characters. I know that death is coming soon. π
This one's better, but I'm still aghast at that high angle. #GH
(Vanessa Marcil, 1996)
What kind of camera angle is this?! What were they doing to my Kristina Wagner?!?
#OLTL 96. I am prepared for the tomatoes people will throw, but I have to say this:
1996 is a bad year for OLTL, but Kevin/Cassie flirting is the best part of it. I thoroughly enjoy them.
Yes, and I think there are a few others with middle names? Amelia, maybe? Also Sam's miscarried daughter years and years ago was also named Lila iirc
π― my cat has been sitting by the (closed) window a lot more lately. So I opened it up today and he keeps glancing back at it when he hears outside noises. Itβs β¨temptingβ¨ him π
#OLTL 96. Carlo tells Blair that he wants to donate money to Llanview U's School of Journalism for a new wing, and name the wing after Todd Manning
LU ain't ever going to allow that (Blair even points that out) but by god I hope that thing got built lmao
#Days firing Shawn and Belle & breaking up that could've-been-massive quad with Phillip/Chloe.
#OLTL the annihilation of the Holden family in a 6-month period; but mostly killing off Al Holden, a legacy character we saw born on screen.
#GH like many others noted the systemic removal of the Qs

#OLTL Mar 01. Ah, this is the ep with the amazing Nora-Todd scene. I am always here for HBS and RH going toe to toe. They rehash their whole history is a couple of sentences, get more than a few jabs in, and Nora gets the last word with the ever so 90s/00s "read between the lines" turn of phrase.
#OLTL Mar 01.
Blair: Max got to you. Todd Manning, the master manipulator, out-manipulated by Max Holden. He had to separate us, and he figured out which buttons to push to make you blow. And you blew just the way he knew you would.
This, this is why I will always stan this triangle.
Even though this was the year I started watching OLTL live, I don't think 2026 me is prepared to deal with Gary Tomlin's full effect on the show.
