They need to be paid the Federal hourly minimum wage to understand. Of course, my guess is, that at $7.25/hr, they would only make about $14.50/day. By his logic, these people all deserve higher premiums: kids born without legs, young and elderly adults who have dementia because they didn’t take some unknown step to prevent it, people who are obese because the McDonald’s dollar menu is cheaper than groceries, etc. BUT what he doesn’t get is…

The moment when 30 million American's received healthcare (2010) The moment when insurance companies had to start covering preexisting conditions, young adults could stay on their family's policy and I could trust that the small print couldn't screw me if I needed serious medical assistance. 🇺🇸
