A mostly green chameleon on a couple of thin brown branches. The chameleon is looking away to the left at a 45° angle. The chameleon is about to grasp something with its right 'hand'. Whatever it is, it isn't visible in the picture. The chameleon has thin brown bands on its head and back. Some brown markings are also visible on its front limbs.

🦎Veiled chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus).

Max size males 61 cm (24"), females 35 cm (14").

Has a prehensile tail.

Found in southwestern Saudi Arabia and western Yemen. It is an introduced species in Hawaii and Florida.

Considered Least Concern by the IUCN.
