First time seeing Landon Dupont live this season. The #2027NHLDraft prospect has 50 points (12-38) in 49 games this season. 👀

I would say that is a definitive no. Willander is a far superior prospect — his upside is much higher and his certainty to be an impact NHLer is higher than Mancini. For me Mancini is great depth for the organisation, particularly on the right side where they are a bit thin beyond the NHL.

Despite a disappointing outcome for Sweden at the 2025 WJC, Tom Willander was a beast for his nation.

I broke down his tape, discussed improvements in his game, and looked at his translatability. (Video + Analysis). #Canucks

Hard to compare them, really. ASP is a high tempo defender with ridiculous offensive tools. ASP is also pretty disruptive, but Willander impacts the game more in his own end. Better off his edges, physical, a better processor under pressure. It’s up to what you need — PP QB vs. Shutdown

I think you will see him play NHL games this season once his NCAA season is over. After that, it will depend on how he plays and the orgs development plan.
